Centrifugal pumps can be divided into vertical pumps and horizontal pumps according to their structure
The vertical pump is characterized by a small footprint and easy installation. The disadvantage is that the center of gravity is high, and it cannot be used without a fixed seat cushion.
The horizontal pump is characterized by a low center of gravity, a wide range of applications and good stability. The disadvantage is that it occupies a large area, is large in size and heavy in weight.
Centrifugal pumps can be classified as follows according to the requirements of head flow and according to the number of stages composed of the impeller structure:
1. Single-stage single-suction pump: the pump has only one impeller and one suction port on the impeller. The flow range is: 4~300 square meters per hour, and the head is 1~150 meters.
2. Single-stage double-suction pump: the pump has one impeller, and there are two on the impeller. The flow range is 100~30000 square meters per hour, and the head is 5~120 meters.
3. Single-stage multi-suction pump: the pump has multiple impellers, the discharge chamber of the first impeller is connected to the suction port of the second impeller, and so on.
